No-Limit Holdem, full ring table, you are in late position holding AQo. For sake of simplicity we’ll assume all opponents have stacks of about 100BB/ Anything significantly below this range would mean that you are playing too passively and raising only the nuts, while being above it suggests you’re overly aggressive with marginal hands. Tight-aggressive online poker players on 9-max and 6-max tables usually have a PFR percentage between 1/2 and 2/3 of their VPIP, with the tendency of increasing as the tables get shorter. This value converges at the same rate as VPIP and becomes useful after about 100 hands. Sorry to be a pest and I appreciate and elaboration you can provide.PFR – the percentage of times a player raises pre-flop.

If the newest up to date PT3 software I'm using is all good which I suspect, then is it likely charger07's stats are from an older PT with different definitions? I notice that with his stats BB= Big Bets = 2 X Big Blinds and for my stats BB = Big Blind. But I really doubt I raise more when I'm first in. I can accept that possibly I 3-bet less than charger so my PFR would be lower. And the same thing for a larger sample size on another poker site PFR = 10.58% (775/7327), and RFI = 17.18% (396/2305). If you look at charger07, he is PFR 19.46% from button, but his RFI is 9.46% from the same position. I am also suspecting that something is wrong with the software just based on looking at the stats of a very good Tight Agressive player. If somebody limps and I raise and it counts as RFI, but not ASB then RFI should be much higher than ASB since very often I raise mult-way limped pots from late position. It doesn't make any sense to me eryanb Posts: 57 Joined: Fri 1:18 pmĪnother thing that doesn't make sense then is why on my PT3 stats RFI and ASB are exactly equal in SB, button, and cut-off. Since raised first in include attempt to steal then the raised first in %'s should be higher that the att. It still seems impossible that Charger07 and other posting their stats here have raise first in % 9.85% max on button, cut-off, sb, yet 30% att to steal blinds in general stats. But then it still doesn't make sense the stats in this thread. RFI would be 0% (you could have but didn't RFI), ASB would be N/A. RFI would be 100% (you could have and did raise first), ASB would be N/A (someone else was in the pot, you couldn't attempt to steal). So here are some examples where the stats differ: RFI is how often you raise when you are entering a pot and the pot has not been raised previously.ĪSB is how often you raise to steal the blinds when you are entering a pot and nobody has entered the pot before you. Kraada wrote:The short answer is: All attempts to steal are raises first in, but not all raises first in are attempts to steal. Very much appreciated if somebody here could clear this up for me. I notice the exact same thing in other peoples stats that are posted there. Is there something wonky with his stats or am I confused somehow. But look on the "General" section at the bottom of the same screen shot and you see his ASB is 30.54%.now this seems impossible. If you look at their stats (for example Charger in 07's) you see his RFI %'s are 9.46, 9.85, and 5.50% in button, cut-off, and SB respectively. Now where I get confused is when I see this Official PT stats thread.

Now if I look under "General" I see ASB stat as 15.01which is the total for button, cut-off, and sb.

Except for cut-off where for some reason RFI is 15.17% and ASB is 15.09%, but that pretty much the same. Under "Positions" section the ASB and RFI stats are exactly the same for button, cut-off, small blind. Indeed this is what I find on my own stats. to steal blinds (ASB) and Raise First in % (RFI) are exactly the same thing if you are button, Cut-off, or small blind.
